Session summary
The session's main themes, sources, and items to check.
The Summary tab gathers the session’s main themes into a short structure so you can quickly return to what matters after the meeting.
Where to find it
Open a session and go to the Summary tab.
What you’ll see
Depending on what the recording contains, the summary may include:
- brief context;
- leading themes and affects;
- agreements and homework;
- risks;
- a plan for the next session.
These items are insights about the session. They are not a diagnosis or a recommendation and do not replace your understanding of the client: read them alongside the recording.
How to do it
- Hover over an item to edit, delete, reorder, or add to it manually.
- Click the source icon next to an item to open the part of the recording it is based on.
- Copy the summary as a whole or in individual blocks.
If it didn’t work
- There is no summary. It appears after the transcript is ready — see How a session is processed.
- An item is flagged as needing a check. Verify it against the transcript using the source icon.
