Record a session

Start, pause, and finish a meeting recording.

Sessio records your voice through the microphone and the client’s voice from Zoom, Google Meet, or another app through macOS system audio.

Before your first recording

Allow Sessio to access:

• the microphone;
• Screen Recording;
• notifications, if you want to be notified when the note is ready.

macOS calls system audio access “Screen Recording,” although Sessio uses it to capture audio from the call.

Start recording

1. Select Start session from the client profile, or open Sessio from the Mac menu bar.
2. Select a client. You can also start without a client and attach the session later.
3. Select Start recording.

You can pause and resume the recording during the meeting. When you stop, Sessio saves and uploads the audio, then starts processing it.

If your internet connection drops, the recording remains on this Mac. Retry the upload from Sessio in the menu bar.
