Session note
How the automatically saved note draft works and how to edit it.
After processing a recording, Sessio prepares a note draft based on your selected approach. The draft is a starting point, not the final version of the note: Sessio draws on the recording and context but does not make decisions for the therapist.
Where to find it
Open a session and go to the Note tab. The draft appears here once the transcript is ready.
Are changes saved automatically
Yes. You do not need to approve or manually save the note. Open it as soon as it is ready, adjust the wording, add your own items, or remove anything unnecessary — changes are saved automatically. You can come back and edit the note at any time.
You can Accept items from the Summary draft — they then move into the note — or edit them manually. This is a typing aid, not a required step: the note text stays under your control.
What you’ll see
A structured draft based on your selected approach; the text is edited in place. Automatic items are marked as a draft, and accepted items are marked as accepted.
If it didn’t work
- The note doesn’t seem to be saving. The note saves itself — a saved indicator appears next to it. If you don’t see it, check your internet connection and wait a couple of seconds: your edits apply automatically, and there is no separate save button.
- There is no draft. The note appears only after the transcript is ready — see How a session is processed.
- Roles are mixed up. First fix the roles in the transcript, then prepare the note again.
- Manual edits disappeared. Preparing the note again may replace your text — copy anything important before running it again.
