Transcript and roles
Search the session text and fix mixed-up speaker roles.
The Transcript tab shows the therapist’s and client’s turns linked to the recording. This is also where you fix roles if Sessio mixed up who is speaking.
Where to find it
Open a session and go to the Transcript tab.
How to do it
In the transcript you can:
- search the text with
⌘F; - jump to a specific point in the recording;
- edit the text of an individual turn;
- change the speaker of a single turn with Change speaker;
- swap roles across the whole session with Swap therapist and client.
How to fix mixed-up roles
If roles are mixed up in a single turn, change its speaker. If they are mixed up across the whole session, use Swap therapist and client; repeating the action restores the original order. After you fix them, Sessio offers to prepare the note again.
What you’ll see
Turns with the correct roles. Summary items can link to specific parts of the transcript, so it’s faster to check what a given wording is based on.
If it didn’t work
- There is no transcript, or it isn’t ready. See How a session is processed.
- Note edits disappeared after swapping roles. Preparing the note again may overwrite manual changes — copy any important text in advance.
