Beta tester questions
Short answers to common questions about notes, recording, and processing.
Short answers to what people ask most often. If yours isn’t here, write to us through Settings → Help Center or in the Telegram community.
Where do I find the note?
Open a session and go to the Note tab. The draft appears there after the transcript is ready. More: Session note.
Are changes saved automatically?
Yes. The note draft is saved automatically, and so are your edits. You don’t need to approve or manually save the note — you can edit it at any time.
The note isn’t saving?
Most likely everything is fine: the note saves itself, and a saved indicator appears next to it. If the note isn’t saving, check your internet connection and wait a couple of seconds — your edits apply automatically. More: Session note.
Why isn’t my recording being processed?
Processing runs in the background and goes through stages: audio upload → transcription → summary → done. If it stopped on an error, click Try again or Process again while the source file is still saved. Check the file format and your internet connection. More: How a session is processed and Upload and processing problems.
How do I fix mixed-up roles?
On the Transcript tab, change the speaker of an individual turn or use Swap therapist and client for the whole session, then prepare the note again. More: Transcript and roles.
How is the summary different from the note?
The Summary is the main themes, agreements, and plan for the session. The Note is a draft based on your approach that you edit and keep. Both open on the session page.
Does Sessio make a diagnosis?
No. Sessio prepares a transcript, a summary, and a note draft. Insights are not a diagnosis or a recommendation; decisions stay with you.
Which file formats can I upload?
Audio — mp3, m4a, wav. Documents and images — pdf, txt, docx, doc, csv, jpg, png. Audio can be turned into a session with Create session or kept with Keep as file. More: Client files.
Can I record without choosing a client?
Yes. Start recording and link a client later. More: Record a session.
What happens to the audio after processing?
The transcript, summary, and note are saved in your account. The original recording is kept for a limited time after processing. You can delete a session, a client, or your account at any time. More: Data and privacy.
Do I need the client’s consent to record?
Sessio doesn’t add a separate consent screen and doesn’t ask for confirmation inside the app. How you arrange recording with your client is up to you, based on your practice.
How do I save the note outside Sessio?
Export the session to PDF or Markdown via Actions. More: Export or delete a session.
