Navigation and search
Find clients, the schedule, search, and settings.
The sidebar on the left is the main way to move around Sessio: from here you start a session, open the schedule, search, and go to clients.
Where to find it
All sections are gathered in the sidebar on the left. The account menu is at the very bottom.
How to do it
At the top of the sidebar:
- Start session — record a new meeting.
- Search (
⌘K) — search across clients, sessions, notes, and commands. - Schedule (
⌘S) — meetings and calendar events. - Insights (
⌘I, Pro badge) — a future feature. - Add client (
⌘N) — a new client card.
Below that is the list of active clients; drag them to change their order. At the very bottom is the account menu: settings, help, and sign out.

What you’ll see
When you open a client, you’ll see three tabs: Portrait, Sessions, and Files. Next to them are a methodology dropdown (for example, CBT) and the ⋮ actions menu.
If it didn’t work
Archived clients don’t appear in the list — find them in Settings → Archived clients. Use ⌘B to hide or show the sidebar.
